FIAT Letter to Ally

Our school has been taking party in the GRA (Global Read Aloud). This is where schools around the world read the same book, and communicate with each other. Our class has been reading the book Fish in a Tree. That's where FIAT comes from. We have done a activity where we write a letter to Ally in the book to give her advice and stuff like that. Here is my letter

Dear Ally,

I can not believe you aren’t letting anyone know about your problem with reading! I would tell someone, (definitely not Shey,) then they would help you. At least Mr. Daniels has found out.
It sounds like you are great at chess, eh? I used to play chess, I know how to play, but I ain't that good. A friend and classmate, Harris, is really good at chess, maybe you could verse him sometime.
Anyways, have you told Mr. Daniels about Shey? Sure, he knows about her, but does he know about what she is really doing to you? I think you should tell Mr. Daniels that it was a misunderstanding when you took a piece of Shey’s cake off, then Mr. Daniels will be able to sort it out. Or maybe you could tell Shey about it, and maybe she will forgive you. I just think you should let Shey know somehow.
Also, it’s good that you have got some friends. If you believe that you don’t fit in, don’t. Everyone is different. We have got some trouble makers in our class, some nerds, some braggers, and no one is the same. Just like that saying “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish be it’s ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.”
You are a great drawer, Ally. Keisha is a great cook, and Albert is a nerd. You guys are great together. All you need to do is believe.

Sincerely,
Lucas
